Sensory Integration Therapy

Helping the senses make sense.

Specialised therapy that helps children process and respond to sensory information for calmer, focused days.

Ages

2 – 12 years

Duration

45-minute sessions, 1–2 times per week, reviewed every 10–12 weeks.

Overview

Sensory integration therapy helps children who are over- or under-responsive to sensory input — sounds, textures, movement or light — regulate their responses so they can focus, play and learn comfortably.

In our sensory gym, therapists use carefully graded, playful activities that build the brain's ability to organise sensory information, improving attention, coordination and self-regulation.
